All books from the CHS Media Center are checked out for a period of 4 weeks (one month); however, we do not charge late fees if a book is turned in late. If a book remains unreturned for 60 days, it is marked as lost, and the student is then charged a fine. If the student returns the book, undamaged, after they have been charged a fine for a lost book, the fine will be removed from their account. Please note, Concord High School only collects lost book fines for books that belong to CHS. If a student lost a book in middle school or elementary school, we will remind you that you owe that school a fine, but we will not collect money that is owed to a different school. You must pay all fines directly to the school who is owed the money.
