Community Input on Future Programs and Magnet Themes
Dear Cabarrus County Stakeholders,

As we plan for the future, we value your input on the programs and magnet themes that will best serve our students and community. Your feedback is essential in helping us enhance our offerings and ensure we are meeting the diverse needs of all learners. Please take a few moments to share your thoughts and ideas, so together we can create the best possible educational experiences for our students. This survey will close at 11:59 P.M. on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. To begin the survey, click the link below.

Fall '24 Exam Schedule
Exams are quickly approaching and will begin on December 16th. It is important for all students to be at school to take exams as they count 25% of the final grade. All students in all classes will have exams (see the schedule below).

The only exception is for seniors in semester classes without state assessments who meet the following criteria:
  • Have an A or B in the course
  • Have missed 3 or fewer days in the course
  • Have not had ISS or OSS
If your student thinks he/she qualifies for an exemption, he/she should talk to the teacher of that class.

Families in the Web
Parents and Families in the Web
Concord High School continues to partner with parents to “empower students to be contributing members of a global society.” Research shows that when parents are involved students perform better in school, student attendance increases, graduation rates increase, and students and families enjoy closer bonds.

If you are not yet actively engaged in your child’s education, we invite you to join the Web!

TIPS FOR THE WEEK:
  • Your child/children are now registering for classes. This a great time to have conversations with them about course selection and how such courses will prepare them for a career.
  • Having conversations about what your children are learning is a great way to keep abreast of their learning needs. Consider asking open-ended questions. A question such as “What was the best part of your day” should give you some insights into your child/children’s school day.

Questions or suggestions concerning parent and family engagement?
