Class of 2027
It’s time for senior photos!
Dear parents/guardians and members of the class of 2027, 
Tux and drape photos are a traditional photo that all seniors across the country get taken. This is the photo that appears in the yearbook and at graduation. It is a more formal photo than the traditional school picture; therefore, it requires setting up an appointment in order to get it taken. Our official school photographers, Cady Studios, are the only company that can take this photo for CHS. This coming school year, we are offering two options for how you can set up an appointment to get this photo taken.

Option 1: Set up an appointment for a senior photo session at Cady Studios. Appointments open on May 1, 2026.

Option 2: Set up an appointment to get your tux/drape (yearbook) photo only taken at CHS in late November/early December (date still TBD). Appointments will not open until late October.

- Pro: All senior photo sessions at Cady Studios include a minimum of the tux/drape photo for the yearbook, a cap and gown photo, and one other senior pose of your choice.
- Pro: Appointments open early and are available all throughout the year.
- Pro: Cady has a variety of senior photo session options based on how many photos you want them to take.
- Con: All photo sessions at Cady Studios require paying a sitting fee. The most basic session requires a $29 sitting fee.

- Pro: No sitting fee is required. Senior tux/drape photos taken at CHS are taken free of charge. (payment is required to purchase copies of these photos)
- Pro/Con: You can have a different photographer of your choice take any other senior photos you want. Cady will not take any other photos besides the tux/drape photo on this day.
- Con: No picture re-take day will be available for tux/drape photos taken at CHS. If you miss your appointment or don’t like your photo, you will have to go to Cady Studios for re-takes.

Appointments for photo sessions at Cady Studios must be made online at cady.com

Appointments for tux/drape yearbook photos only at CHS will be made in person with Miss Armstrong in the Media Center starting in late October.

*Note: Cady provides all necessary outer clothing items for tux/drape photos. Tux photos only require students to wear a white undershirt and drape photos only require students to wear a cami, tank top, or tube top (something that the shoulder can be easily bared).
All senior tux/drape photos must be taken by December 19, 2026.
No matter which option you choose, please scan the QR code and set up your senior profile with Cady. Appointment reminders, updates, and final photos will all be uploaded to this profile.
